Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort welcomes you to the
world’s premier sport fishing destination.
Here on the Sea of
Cortez—the world’s richest ocean—you can expect to catch blue,
black and striped marlin, enormous wahoo, tuna, yellowtail,
sailfish, roosterfish and dorado. Join us for the ultimate
sportsman’s vacation—three exciting days of sport fishing,
followed by three days of duck and dove hunting on the most
prolific huntingrounds you’ll ever see, on Mexico’s mainland.
Sinalopato
Duck and Dove Club welcomes you to a world-class duck and
dove-hunting destination.
If you’re
looking for game bird hunting at its best, Sinalopato Duck &
Dove Club is the place. Attracting millions of waterfowl
annually, Sinaloa is alive with winged activity and natural
beauty.
The
operation is based in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, at Plaza Inn Hotel,
a five star property with two restaurants, fitness center,
bar, night club, convention rooms, travel agency, pool,
gardens, 130 rooms, and suites.
For
the hunters, a special room, “The Sinalopato Duck Club Room”
is provided. This lounge has a full bar and dining area and
its decor provides the perfect ambience for reliving the daily
hunt moments.
Our
duck club operates a large marshland system in the North
Region of Sinaloa State with over 80
blinds. The blinds are built with wood platforms, so the
hunters stay dry. All blinds have decoys. To operate this
70,000 acres system of marshland we have seven airboats.
Flying
along the water in a sleek airboat you’ll be astonished by the
variety of birds and grandeur of this hunting paradise. Vast
marsh lands, as far as the eye can see, are perfect habitat
for a variety of ducks, many of which are scarce in the United
States, including black-bellied whistling ducks, redheads,
cinnamon, green winged & blue winged teal, gadwalls,
canvasbacks, fulvous whistling ducks, mottled ducks, widgeons,
pintails, shovelers and mallards.
Grain
crops
are responsible for attracting millions of white wing and
mourning doves to the fertile farming valleys of Los Mochis
and nearby El Fuerte. This year was a banner planting season
for milo-maize, raise, bean and wheat. These fields will be
holding birds all season long crop harvests will be
staggering this year due to an abundance of irrigation
water and newly cultivated fields. Sinalopato’s
land concessions for dove hunting total over hundred thousand
acres.

DAY FOUR .
January 15: Today, after
returning from fishing you will pack up in time to depart to
Los Cabos International Airport for your flight to Los Mochis.
FISHING FACTS:
q
Fishing distances during the
winter months vary from 5 miles to 35 miles.
q
Ocean conditions vary from
very calm to windy, and fishing distance and location depend
on winds conditions. Most of our fleet will fish to the north
to avoid returning with the afternoon wind.
q
Average catch per boat is
very similar to those during the most popular months. This is
particularly due to the fact that there is less competition.
CLOTHING:
Temperatures are usually in the low to
mid-80s during the day, but can dip into the low 60s at night,
so we recommend that you bring a jacket for evenings and
waterproof clothing for fishing.
FISHING RODS AND
EQUIPMENT:
Bring your best tackle, or you can rent it
from the hotel.
TIPS:
Taxes and gratuities for lodging are
included in your package. Boat crew tips are not included in
this package. Suggested tipping range for a Super Panga is $30
to $40, and $50 to 60 on the cruisers, since there are two
crewmen per boat.
TAKING YOUR CATCH

home your fish and ducks. Please be aware that the cost for
cleaning your fish is 40 cents per pound, which includes zip
